How would you get this to work on a 5.4.8 server with WoD models installed? I could never find anything on ownedcore and darknest hasn’t sent any of my account email verifications.
I am not sure exactly. I know for example with Warmane LK 3.3.5 server you just add MPQ file to the data folder and it works just fine. However when it comes to any private server, they may not enable mods. So I cant quite give an answer. Which server do you play on ?
I’m on Stormforge which is the same as Tauri. Arokh’s armory works for example (so i assume mods are enabled) but I can’t seem to get any nude patch to work as they’re intended for classic models and not the WoD models mod. Thank you for the reply.
What models do they run on Stormforge? New or Old?
By default they run the default MoP models but modding WoD models in and using the custom .exe works fine. I’m not gonna bother trying to get anything to work anymore because I don’t think it’s possible with the tools currently available but thank you for trying to help.

Any update here? Trying to get these working on Tauri. The model geometry seems to load fine, but the textures are all messed up. Are the UV maps (or whatever is used here to map the textures to the model) different in WoD/MoP?
Why does the Non Model Change patch and Arokhs Armory work perfectly for me and the Model Change Patch doesn’t?
All patches are amazing but just the one that I liked the most is the one that doesn’t work.
I put the patch with its respective modified name in data/cache/xxXx.
But when entering character selection it never loads the model or it explodes and remains without form.
The model is incompatible with the version you run, this was a huge issue back in the day too with the different patches throughout the time
Is there any solution for that?

you just need to run it with the wow64bit no file check instead of regular wow.exe
Not sure, someone with skills in model editing would have to do it manually I would assume. I am no model editor myself. All model edits are done by other people (as seen in the credits). I just do the skin editing myself where needed. I am sorry if this is not the answer you look for but it is what I know.

I have the model change nude patch, but for pandaren it seems the same as non model change unlike other races, also, pandaren underwear isnt completely removed, only the bra is
I am not sure exactly why this is, I have not used this for a long time, as far as I remember there should be a tabard removing file within the MPQ file on the model change nude patch.
If you use it on a private server, it can be that it isnt fully compatible with it, but I am not sure.

I also play on Stormforge, the mod works fine, just change the name for example: patch-enUS-16057 or some other 1KB MPQ that exists in Data/cache/enUS and place it there, then start wow.exe and enjoy

So theres for sure a lot of things im doing that shouldn’t work but hoping for some help. Im playing on whitemanes cata server 4.3.4 trying to use this mod. I can launch the game and the textures work but i cannot play the character at all, abilites changing armour dont work. Ive got the “fixed exe” for cata and when i launch via that i cant play but the textures work.
Hey, glad to hear it somewhat works but keep in mind that all these fixed exe files were made for retail wow when it was running these version of the game. They’re not made for private servers specifically so they may not work correctly for Whitemane cata server.
The Fixed WoW Exe files were created by Jh16 on the https://forums.darknestfantasy.com/index.php forum. And I believe he is now inactive, and I do not have the knowledge in how to edit them, I just host them on my website for others to modify if they know how to do it.
would you know of any nude models that work for cata specifically? maybe that dont require the fixed exe. I liked Bogtrolls models a lot but the drobox is dead.
its not as good but try the non model change patch for MoP, as that doesnt modify the character models, it might be more stable. But it can also be that in your case the fixed .exe file is the issue
you can also try rename the MPQ file to a different patch name similar to other MPQ patches and just have a higher number then the rest, which means it takes priority more.
I got it to work using a different exe. idk if im allowed to post links here but i downloaded this exe and it works with that. Some of the animations are a little buggy but i got booba so who cares.

Awesome you found something. The thing with animations being buggy is because when the nude patch was created it was during a specific patch, and now and then blizzard changed animations a tiny bit which then screws up the animation of a nude patch since it contains animation files that are not 100% compatible with the patch of wow you might be playing
Hey sorry I’ve been looking everywhere but I can’t really find something for the classic version of the game
To be more specific I’m playing on a private server on the 1.14 client which means the MPQ patches aren’t a thing, I’m trying to figure these patches out but apparently there’s no fixed wow.exe for my version? The current classic client is fine too but I just can’t find anything classic related

However, if it is the case that the private server you use does not use MPQ files like wow once did, it sounds more like it runs on the newer system where I am not sure what you can do to run custom patches. Perhaps arctium launcher can be used but im not sure since I only know that arctium launcher works for live wow (retail and classic).

you can try the “Custom Server Game Launcher” and see if that works. I believe the characters folder goes next to the wow.exe file and then use the custom launcher and add the files (i havent used arctiums launcher before so i cant say for sure). You can try add the BFA nude patch to the private server since it has the vanilla wow char skins inside the characters folder along with the HD files for the HD models.
